History
Founded by Wes W. Fisher, O.D. in 1944, Creston Vision Clinic has provided local eye care for over 60 years. In 1964, Steve D. Stults, O.D. joined Dr. Fisher in practice. They relocated from N. Maple to N. Elm Street and were incorporated as Creston Vision Clinic, P.C. in 1977. In 1986, Don E. McKim, O.D. began seeing patients and the three Optometrists practiced together until Dr. Fisher’s retirement in 1994. Soon after, Ken D. Stults, O.D., joined the clinic. His father, then the senior partner, retired at the end of 2000. In August 2002 they moved to the Medical Arts Plaza Building on the campus of the Greater Regional Medical Center. Currently the staff includes many long-term employees, including Bill Sorden, Southwest Iowa’s only ABO certified Master Optician.
